About Us

Our Story

Altpreneurs was born from a vision to empower and support disabled professionals and entrepreneurs, creating a world where opportunities are accessible to all, regardless of physical or cognitive challenges.

Founded by Mercy Onyinye Onuoha, a trained and certified communications and social works expert, Altpreneurs is dedicated to breaking down barriers and advocating for inclusivity in workplaces and communities. We believe that disability should never hinder ambition or limit potential.

Our journey began with the recognition of the unique talents and capabilities of disabled individuals, often overlooked or underestimated in traditional work environments. We saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, creating pathways for success and fulfillment.

Through our programs and initiatives, we strive to provide meaningful support, resources, and networks for disabled professionals and entrepreneurs. We work tirelessly to advocate against discrimination, challenge stereotypes, and promote a culture of inclusivity and diversity in every aspect of society. We are more than just an NGO; we are a community, a movement, and a force for positive change. Join us in our mission to build a more inclusive and empowering future for all.
